Gwinnett Tech Transient Agreement

It creates a smooth pathway for eligible TCSG graduates who wish to pursue graduate studies and earn a bachelor`s degree at one of Georgia`s leading private universities,“ said RON Jackson, TCSG Commissioner. Students eligible for the HOPE/Zell Miller scholarship at their home institution must follow the following procedure. Through Georgia Tech, no other assistance (including loans) is available. Students should contact their home institutions to determine if their assistance can be used for temporary periods of time. University System of Georgia – The TCSG-USG agreement sets out 28 general education courses, which are certainly transferred between coC-accredited institutions. A number of additional Gwinnett Tech courses are disseminated in USG schools, and you can find more information by browsing the transfer equivalencies database on the USG school website or by contacting the school. To qualify for the Georgia HOPE/Zell Miller Scholarship for the semester you wish to take as a temporary student, you must submit the Hope Scholarship Transient form. If you are entitled, you must send this form to our office before visiting the host institution. We transmit the information electronically to the host institution. Your HOPE/Zell Miller scholarship is paid through your host institution. Gwinnett Tech also has local articulation agreements with the colleges listed below.

Under the agreement signed on August 18, SACSCOC accredited TCSG university graduate students can transfer their college credits to a bachelor`s degree in one of the following nine programs offered by Mercer`s College of Continuing and Professional Studies or Tift College of Education: Atlanta – The leadership of the Technical College System of Georgia and Mercer University have an articulation trajectory. TCSG students who are graduates of one of the 19 TCSG colleges accredited by the Southern Association of College and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC). Nineteen of the 25 TCSG colleges are accredited by SACSCOC.
